CARCOSA was written, recorded and produced by Royal Ottawa at JFK/UFO studios in Ottawa, Canada. The songs were mastered by Frankie Arkwright at Abbey Road Studios in London in the summer of 2022.
Like the Loch Ness Monster, the mystery of Royal Ottawa is hard to fathom, difficult to get to the bottom of but trust me, persevere and the bounty will be plentiful...what is clear is that Carcosa could well turn out to be their magnum opus, a fantastic album and one you need to hear……now!!
To me, Carcosa sounds like a miracle. Carcosa continues to resonate long after it draws to a close.
I have no idea where this band has been or where they are going, but Carcosa is the gleaming jewel hiding in the basement that needs to be seen/heard.
